SDGs related projects

 

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals are interconnected, apply to all countries, and need to be carried out by all stakeholders – governments, the private sector, civil society, the United Nations system and others – in a collaborative partnership.

NNFTRI as one of the most prestigious scientific and research institutes at national and regional level, has different projects aims to achieve SDGs goals.

  1. Comparing the cost and affordability of nutritious and sustainable baskets by different socioeconomic groups and sub-national areas in Iran: 2016-2019

  8. Sustainability assessment of  two Iranian national dietary guidelines (2006 and updated one in 2015) , a step forward to develop sustainable dietary guidelines
